At Curls by Molly, I am dedicated to making every experience in my chair be one you look forward to. I’ve always loved making people feel beautiful which is why I fell into this industry. My mission is to enhance the natural beauty of your hair by reminding you that your hair doesn’t need to be fixed, it needs to be embraced!
Services
At Curls by Molly, I work with a variety of hair types while specializing in curly hair. Having almost 10 years of experience behind the chair and 5 years of experience working solely on curly. I am certified in the MAP method and trained by Scott Musgrave, owner of Curly Hair Artistry. As said by Scott Musgrave, “we need to teach people to embrace their hair, not fix it.” I offer many other services including haircutting, color, and styling. About Me
I never considered myself an ‘artist’ until I found my passion working with curly hair. There were a lot of times when I felt that maybe this career choice wasn’t right for me— until I found myself investing everything I had into learning more about curly hair and what I needed to do to help as many people as I possibly could.
I’ve had curly hair all my life. I’ve used every product under the sun as do all of us curly people. I hated my curls growing up. Everyone always had beautiful straight hair that I wanted. It wasn’t until my early 20’s when I started embracing my natural curls and I couldn’t believe how many more compliments I got.
I’ve been to countless curly classes and worked in a Ouidad salon before I even knew this was my niche. I received one on one training in Raleigh, North Carolina with the best in the game. Scott Musgrave, owner of Curly Hair Artistry, not only being an amazing educator but also became a great mentor to me. Through this training I received a certification in the MAP method.
So what is the MAP method?
A curly cut is designed specifically for wavy, curly and textured hair. It is sculpting the hair in a way that is customized to each person who sits in my chair. It will allow you to embrace your natural texture and body with lower maintenance. A curly cut is recommended every 4-6 months or 3 times a year meaning less haircuts and happy curls.
I want people to embrace their natural beauty because it’s what was given to us, wasn’t it? Why fix that!

Cancellation Policy
All appointments require a credit card on file. Cancellations must be made before 72 hours. Any cancellations made within 72 hours of the service including no shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled cost.

By appointment only. Children‘s cuts are not offered. Must be 18 or older. To maintain a comfortable environment, I ask that clients attend appointments alone; do not bring additional guests to your appointments as space is limited.
